Prevention Program of Physical Inactivity among Hispanic Adults
Physical activity can alleviate multiple chronic diseases that society faces today. More importantly, the lack of physical activity or a sedentary lifestyle also leads to significant health problems. Human bodies were made to move; consequently, a sedentary lifestyle diminishes the chance to be healthy. With the high rates of physical inactivity among Hispanic adults. My Group and I created a prevention program that focuses on getting adults of the Hispanic population to be active. We created multiple interventions that include a salsa class, a marathon event, cooking class, and an aerobic class. Our goal of this program was to decrease the rates on physical inactivity among Hispanic adults to prevent future chronic diseases.
